Objectives: In recent years, thread lifting methods have been increasingly employed in the practice of specialists in dermatology and aesthetic surgery. Currently, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of different threads and methods available for facial and body rejuvenation. Often, companies do not provide adequate training for doctors who purchase these products, neglecting to consider potential consequences.
Introduction: The advice offered by the authors is based on the application of thread lifting methods by a group of doctors with over 30 years of experience. The results of different methods applied to more than 300 patients were researched to evaluate the effectiveness of these techniques. Over the years, the technique of subcutaneous thread placement has been refined for safer and more effective application.
Materials / method: As a result of long-standing work, the authors have succeeded in compiling all the nuances and details of thread application for facial and body rejuvenation. They have managed to differentiate and structure the thread lifting process and offer colleagues practical advice and techniques to achieve the best results with the majority of threads available on the market.
Results: The aim of the presented work is to enhance the safety level of thread lifting applications, ease the workload for doctors, and improve the quality of the results obtained. The extensive experience beginning with non-absorbable threads and transitioning to absorbable materials has enabled mastery in methods of face and body correction using threads, proper patient selection, and treatment protocol customization.
Conclusion: The authors are adept at combining other procedures and methods with thread lifting techniques. This presentation will reveal all the tips and tricks for obtaining the best results in thread lifting methods.
